Someplace Else is Bobby Deol's restaurant at Jio World Drive in BKC — and Anisha was guided there by a robot, which is either the most futuristic or most on-brand thing to happen in this series.
Anisha dressed as the walking green flag, making sure the food at Someplace Else was the complete red flag. After an eight-minute walk through Jio World Drive in heels, she still hadn't found the restaurant — so she asked a robot guide for directions. The robot actually led her there. "Some people have a partner to take them to restaurants. I have a robot." The space itself has a hot pink design concept that's genuinely cool, and the ambience was one of Anisha's favourites in the series.
The Hot Pink Desire Mocktail was very Instagram-ready with its lemon garnish, and the guava base made it surprisingly refreshing. 8/10. The Middle Eastern Dip and Crunch Platter was a standard platter doing standard platter things — lots of different dips and chips to choose from, presentation was okay. Didn't blow Anisha away but she kept eating. 7.5/10. The Honey Lotus Glazed Crisps were super crispy, tangy, and spicy — not exactly groundbreaking (she'd had this profile before) but if you love crunchy starters, these hit the right spot. 8/10. The Blue Pea Flower Fried Rice was visually very cool — that blue colour does most of the heavy lifting here. The rice itself was slightly overcooked. 7/10. The Empire State Cheesecake had a great name and cute presentation — but the cake was slightly hard (like it had commitment issues) and Anisha has had better cheesecake elsewhere. 6/10.
₹2,830 for five items in total. The restaurant staff sweetly offered a discount (they'd been following Anisha's content since 2017) but she refused — that kind of loyalty honestly feels better than any discount anyway.
Verdict: Someplace Else wins on vibes, robot guide, and loyal fans — but the food needs to match the energy of the space. Great for the experience, a work in progress on the plate.
